Your Flymount DuoFlex is supplied with a length of high strength marine grade cord manufactured here in the UK by English Braids. Always ensure that your camera is backed up by this safety line, or an alternative lanyard.
1/4 inch UNC Type

Create a loop at one end of the cord.

Create a loop at one end of the cord.

Once your mount is located and tightened in place, position the loop over the screw thread.

Attach the camera, trapping the cord loop.

Feed the cord through the nylon collar, between the carbon tube and the connecting screw.

Feed the cord through the lower section of the extesnsion where it connects to the mount.

Feed the cord through the mount’s hinge pin.
7
Pull cord tight and tie off to a secure object.

3-Prong Mounting Type

Place loop over one of the prongs.

Feed the cord through the nylon collar, between the carbon tube and the connecting screw.

Feed the cord through the lower section of the extension where it connects to the mount.

Feed the cord through the mount’s hinge pin.
5
Pull cord tight and tie off to a secure object.
