Your Flymount Original is supplied with a 2 metre length of high strength marine grade cord manufactured here in the UK by English Braids. Always ensure that your camera is backed up by this safety line, or an alternative lanyard.

Create a loop at one end of the cord.

Create a loop at one end of the cord.

Ensure loop is tight and can not come loose.

Feed cord end through loop.

Feed all the cord through until a self-tightening loop has been created.

Place loop over camera.

Pull loop tight around base of camera.

Feed loose end of cord through hinge.

Tie off cord to a secure part of the rig.

When mounting close to the boom, use the boom to secure the safety line.

The loose end off the safety line can often be hidden inside the luff tube.Β
