Safety Line Guide - Aero-40 / Flymount Original

Create a loop at one end of the supplied safety line.

Tie the loop into an overhand loop knot as shown.

Tie the loop into an overhand loop knot as shown.

Overhand knot should look similar to this.

Feed opposite end of safety line through the newly created loop.

Create a slip knot as shown.

Place slip knot over camera.

Secure slip knot below camera.

Tighten slip knot and feed loose end of safety line through your Flymount's hinge pin.

Tie off loose end of safety line.

If your sail has a suitable tie-off location at the sail head use this method.

If your sail does not have a tie-off point at the sail head, use the boom as shown.

The safety line should be taught with no loose sections of line. If necessary, cut unwanted safety line off and heat seal end to avoid fraying.
